“An Ever-Changing Personality”

I was born on April 6, 2005, and I am currently 15 years old. Right now, I would describe myself as an overconfident, cheerful, friendly person. While writing this I realized how my personality had changed so many times since my youth.

When I was younger, I was remarkably close to God and wanted to become a priest. I always relied heavily on him and prayed all the time. It did not matter whether I wanted something or not, I just prayed because I liked it. But now I have come to resent him and blame him for all my misfortunes. My faith which was once super-strong has become so weak that I doubted God’s existence. But recently I started to get close to him again and my fate got stronger. As a child, I was extremely religious, friendly, humble, cheerful, and talkative. I think the biggest factor that made my personality change was moving from a private to a public school. I knew I had to be tougher and this forced me to change my personality a lot. I became an arrogant, and hot-tempered person. In a private school, they teach you good values and discipline and scold you if you did wrong, but a public school cannot discipline its students as much as a private school would. Moving to a public school showed me a new variety of people. People who were not disciplined, arrogant, and hot-tempered. I had to change my personality into something like them because you would not be bullied if you were one of them. Especially since I was Chinese, I had to adapt and blend in, to not be bullied. But although I changed into a bad person moving to a public school was not all bad. I made new friends and had new experiences.

In conclusion, I have changed a lot since My younger years. From loving God to resenting him and from being humble to being arrogant. I may have changed for the worse, but my personality is still changing, and I hope to return to the version of me where I was a God loving kid, humble, and a good person.

This blog is a hundred percent true, as a friend I have seen all the personalities and characteristics that Raphael have mentioned for himself. He is really a very confident person and a person who is close to God. Raphael is a good person that is approachable when I needed help.
